❖ Design, lead and implement strategic plans for Race Forward sponsored small and large scale convenings, including the flagship event and largest racial justice conference in the U.S.: Facing Race Conference. ❖ Develop, manage, and execute logistics and communication strategies for a variety of all-inclusive meetings, cohorts, events, and conferences virtually and in person. ❖ Create and manage event systems, including but not limited to registration, discount programs, exhibitor and tabling programs, and manage up to 100+ volunteers, depending on the event. ❖ Lead the development and execution of conference, event, and training evaluations in order to continuously improve event design and logistical support. ❖ Manage cross-departmental relationships and ensure all members of the event and program team are prepped with resources and materials to deliver on their roles and tasks. ❖ Supervise the Conferences & Convenings Associate, various strategic consultants and digital vendors, and responsible for tracking $1M+ annual department budget.❖ Coordinate walkthroughs of venue spaces for in-person events, run-of-shows, event staffing plans and volunteer management, venue research and sourcing, post-convenings follow-up and debriefs, and interface with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure collaboration and implementation according to shared objectives.❖ Manage the design and execution of sustainability goals for a variety of meetings, cohorts, events, and conferences.❖ Co- Host of Race Forward's Podcast, Momentum

❖Co-lead the logistical, creative and programmatic planning for Facing Race conference, one of the largest multiracial, intergenerational gatherings for organizers, educators, creatives and other leaders. Facing Race offers local community unprecedented access to information and resources on racial equity, includes over 100 workshops and access to over 200 presenters. The conference has hosted near 3,600 attendees from all over the world. Previous Facing Race National Conferences have been held in Detroit, Atlanta, Baltimore, Berkeley, Chicago, Dallas, Oakland, and New York.❖ Managed all Logistical and Production planning for special programs❖ Managed hotel/venue RFP–process, internally working with program leads on needs, sourcing, vendor booking, hotel negotiations, and executing all contracting processes.❖ Coordinated cross-departmental conference planning teams, scheduling and facilitating team meetings, and launching and updating project management tools.❖ Supported the budgetary process including managing invoices, purchase orders, and sourcing of other support services.❖ Recruited and hired ASL interpreters, translators, childcare, and catering services for all events. Served as on-site logistical lead in tandem with leadership.
