I started working at Tommy Hilfiger as a sales associate. Due to my leadership performance, I got promoted after three months to lead associate. After a couple of months, due to my reliability and hardworking performance, I got promoted to a floor supervisor for three years. Due to my superior performance, I got promoted to the assistant store manager. I am responsible for assisting the store manager on a daily business operation for a retail store as in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies. Also ensuring the store's schedule and employees meet objectives. Monitor and maintain store inventory, handle complaints from customers, and conduct a regular audit to ensure the store is functional and presentable. Besides from the assistant store manager, my area of responsibility (AOR) is the women section visual merchandising. I am responsible for defining, designing, and implementing a visual merchandising strategy to create visually appealing displays that lead the customers through the section which increases sales and to get the customer's attention and to provide an excellent customer experience. Moreover, I am the store's HR Coordinator. My responsibility is recruiting, screening, interviewing, orientation, training, termination—also, employee relations and payroll. I have also handled issues related to employees as compensation, performance management, employee motivation and communication. I hired more the 90 employees and 60% retention of a hired employee. Our store was the pilot store to change from paper to paperless hiring process, and I was part of the process. Helped other store managers and implemented Workday and Kronos HR management systems.
