At NovaCare, I was fascinated by the intricate mechanics of the human hand...It's such a vital tool for everything we do, from the most basic tasks to pursuing our passions.I worked with everyone from athletes with sports injuries to musicians struggling with overuse...I remember one client, a personal trainer, who suffered a severe hand injury that threatened his career. My summers at the YMCA camp were a whirlwind of activity...Imagine dozens of kids, each with boundless energy and unique personalities, all under the summer sun. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺-𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴......One day, a sudden thunderstorm forced us to change plans completely. I had to quickly rally the kids, keep them calm, and improvise indoor activities to keep everyone engaged and safe.It taught me the importance of staying positive and solution-oriented, even under pressure......Despite the craziness, we emphasized teamwork, healthy competition, and creating a supportive environment where every camper felt valued. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻...Looking back, I realize that many of the skills I honed as a camp counselor – leadership, communication, adaptability, and creating a positive atmosphere – are essential for any entrepreneur, especially in the health world where you're dealing with diverse needs and personalities.I still carry those lessons today.

I once worked with a client who was making a LOT of money in his business, but their health was taking a backseat. Long hours, inconsistent eating habits, and zero energy was their norm.....We worked together not just on fitness, but on building sustainable habits that fit his busy lifestyle. We focused on small wins, stress management techniques, and finding ways to make healthy choices enjoyable.....Within a few months, they not only saw physical changes but also reported increased focus, more energy for their business, and a renewed sense of passion for their work.
