• Ensuring that products and materials supplied by external vendors meet the company's quality standards.• Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, conducting quality inspections and audits, andimplementing corrective actions when necessary.• Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and performance metrics.• Perform supplier audits, identify non-conformity and work with suppliers to provide corrective action plans.• Ensure supplier materials and products meet company standards through inspection and testing.• Investigate and resolve supplier complaints regarding quality issues.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.• Monitor supplier progress and provide regular status reports of supplier performance.• Develop and conduct supplier quality training for internal departments and external suppliers.• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes related to supplier quality management.• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems• Manage, coach and develop a high performing Supplier Quality team that meets agreed objectives and whichdelivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimalperformance.• Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with thepurchasing strategy.• Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on engineering design anddevelopment. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimising cost• Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria toensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product requirements.• Assist in the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety andEnvironmental risks.• Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current productsin meeting customer requirements
