CurrentCoordinate with players and team members via multiple communication channels including email, phone, and social media. Prepare draft boards and pref lists for all prospects and present them to the front office to provide valuable suggestions regarding team development and players selection. Assess and evaluate players’ needs and customize game training plans to determine their areas of expertise and deficiencies. Supervise scouting activities in Eastern Canada and multiple US states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, and the Northeast portion of the US.Identify and approach talented individuals within the assigned area by attending several baseball games, and coordinating with head coaches, and academic staff within the school/high school to consider players for the team.Attend sports games and watch videos of prospective athletes; attend board room meetings and discuss each individual player's strengths/weaknesses in the board room including analyzing their performance statistics and metrics.Played a vital role in successfully signing 26 players with nearly $19M in total as a Regional Scouting Supervisor.Maximize each athlete’s talent level on the field as well as develop strong character off the field by organizing adequate training, growth mind-set, and promoting sportsmanship. Travel around multiple states to procure required talent, as well as direct accurate record maintenance and an up-to-date amateur draft of player bios.Curate and deploy strategic marketing plans to make the organizational opportunities more appealing for young players.Play an instrumental role in promoting baseball by spreading awareness regarding opportunities and obstacles of professional baseball.Proactively participated in all pre-draft and draft boardroom meetings; led each players’ presentations to assess and evaluate their needs and customize game training plans accordingly.
