I thrive on building construction sector and have spent more than 7 years in this industry.My work can be consider as "voyage of discovery" which i must continue to strive for greater efficiency in this an endless learning process. I am passionate about working hand in hand with consultant and subcontractor and it can be very satisfying to work with them from the tendering stage until the completion of the building.I am currently employed at Contractor company at Ampang, where I’ve honed my skill by controlling the project cost to ensure that the work being performed would stay within company budget, while meeting all legal requirements. This is including measure and value the done on site, track change to the design and adjust budget accordingly, taking off quantity, analyzing completed works and arranging payment to subcontractor. I'm also dealing with contractual and legal matter by preparing the Letter of Award and Variation Order to subcontractor. Currently, in my role at this company, I am responsible to deal with supplier for certain building material such as tiling work and door frame and leaf. I managed and coordinated cost, do the quantity measurement, and prepare the schedule delivery of materials.For pre-tender stage, I also involve in assisting my contract manager completing the tender submission including calls for quotation from subcontractor, prepare price comparison, checking the BQ quantity with tender drawing, and prepare the complete tender document for submission. While employed here, I have involved in settlement of final account for apartment’s project at Terengganu. by calculating and agreeing any adjustment to the contract sum.
