I have a BS, MS and Ph.D in Agriculture (Plant Breeding & Genetics). I have been associated with teaching, extension and research work for the past 16 years. This includes teaching to graduate and postgraduate students, and supervising them for their research. I undertook research work in different national and international organizations (Legume genomic project SIUC, USA; Faba Bean Breeding, PBI, Pulse Breeding-Australia; Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences-China) and have an experience of handling various crop issues.I have had the honour of participation in the Endeavour Fellowship Programme-Australia during 2014; as Talented Young Scientist Fellow-China in 2018-2019, and as visiting scholar to participate in legume genomic project at SIUC, USA during 2008-2009, and aware of the working environment of foreign research and academic institutions. Publishing articles in SCI journals is my strength and have published more than 50 research articles including high quality impact factor articles. My skills include but not limited to proteomic, transcriptomic applications, hybridization, administration, planning and development. Additionally, I have edited key books published by Springer and Elsevier on soil health, climate change, and abiotic stresses. I have co-bred two wheat varieties that were recently approved by the Provincial Seed Council of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
