It is a small-to-mid sized family business, who offer grassroots and club-style basketball programming to thousands of kids on a yearly basis.• Started as a full time coach, moved into Head of Player Development role in 2021, and moved on to a seasonal/part-time coach in December 2023 when I relocated from Vancouver to California where I currently reside.• As Head of Player Development, I oversaw and planned individual and group sessions for our competitive level athletes. I also oversaw and reformed the private training program, which we managed to grow by ~700% in revenue from 2022 to 2023, significantly increasing this source of revenue for the business.As a Coach:• Helping youth basketball players across all ages and genders finding their pathway in life through basketball, who pursue the sport both recreational and high level performance athletes.• Providing basic level skill clinics, and additional high level basketball coaching and mentoring to high level boys athletes ages 13-18.• Assisting the club with writing for various of our newsletters, that go out to different audiences. Evaluating footage and recruiting portfolios, preparing young students for interviews, relationship and character-building; choosing where to study is one of the most defining decisions of a young student's life, so we do whatever we can to put our clients in a position to make a well-informed decision.
