1. What is POSTECH SIAM Student Chapter? The POSTECH SIAM Student Chapter (PSSC) was recently approved by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). The goal of PSSC are the following: - To increase the awareness of Applied & Industrial Mathematics among POSTECH community - To promote basic research in mathematics leading to new methods and techniques useful to industry and science among POSTECH community - To exchange information and ideas between mathematicians and researchers among POSTECH community2. Activities - The committee organized the joint SIAM student chapter conference with Peking University. (April, 2021) - The committee organized the summer school on Anomaly Detection and Robust Random Cut Forest. (July, 2021) - The committee organized the MCM Camp for undergraduate students to participate Mathematical Contest in Modeling. (December, 2021) - I gave two talks about reinforcement learning and graph neural network.
