I have a long history in the Automotive Industry. I began as Management Trainee Intern with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in early 1998. I worked my way up from there to become a Branch Manager. In 2004, I was offered an opportunity to move into Admin with Enterprise. I provided administrative support to the local remarketing team and handled DMV title processing and collections on the vehicles sold.From there, in late summer of 2005 I was offered an Office Management position at Eurosport Auto. What began as a basic office management job developed me over the years through on-the-job problem solving. To keep up with the tremendous business growth, I hired an office staff and trained them to do the daily routine work as I focused more on the financial and business management. I provided increased support to the owner and general manager. I also helped find and implement three new software/dealership management programs as the business continued to grow and the need arose.In 2012, after the birth of my second child, I began to feel the need to be a more present parent in the home. I was also considering the cost of full time child care for both of my children. I was fortunate enough to have help with the childcare for the first year, but by mid 2013, I was ready to make a change.In August of 2013, I became a sole-prop/independent contractor under my own business name, Jennifer Spafford Consulting. I began to work as a consultant/contractor, handling much of my previous job at Eurosport Auto from home. I developed and employed the systems to work remotely with efficiency. Becoming an independent also gave me the opportunity to begin working with additional clients. I have been able to provide accounting support for several other small dealerships in the local market. I continue to learn and develop my skill-set as I work with new clients. I love to learn and I love to find solutions to problems that my clients and prospective clients are facing.
