Andre Martin loves to solve problems. Before starting a Ph.D. in Marketing at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC, he worked for Xerox and SRC Inc. (a defense contractor) for 15 years as a software engineer and program manager. He holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. His research interests focus on pulling hidden insight from unstructured data to make marketing predictions. The combination of his passion for solving problems, software training, and real-world experience positions him to answer business-relevant questions using novel machine learning techniques.
