Little did I know that it would become the biggest influence on my life and help mold me into the person I am today. The Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple in Orlando, FL, was always my sanctuary that allowed me to put the drama and stress of the outside world on pause while I poured myself into my training. Now as a Sifu in Portland, OR, I have the honor and privilege of teaching a new generation and exposing them to the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of Kung Fu.

- Launched CylanceOPTICS (Endpoint Detection and Response), the first major product following the success of the company’s flagship product CylancePROTECT. - Launched Threat Defense and Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise in partnership for Dell Computers. Targeted at SMB and Enterprise utilizing Cylance’s patented artificial intelligence core technology. - Coordinated cross-functional teams which included product management, development, design, project management, security research, data science, marketing, public relations, sales, and support to successfully build and launch all three products within a year.

Responsible for business and technical strategy of Intel Security’s Threat Intelligence Exchange and Data Exchange Layer product lines- Led the execution on the overall strategy for Intel’s Security Connected vision based on the Data Exchange Layer (DXL) and Threat Intelligence Exchange (TIE)- Developed and executed product roadmaps based on customer, partner, competitor, and market needs- Agile Product Owner who developed epics and user stories based on customer feedback and market intelligence- Facilitated the internal coordination between engineering, research, sales, marketing, support, and Intel Security product teams- Frequent engagement with customers to understand their problems and innovate solutions to address their threat intelligence, incident response, and forensic needs- Assisted sales in presenting Intel Security’s strategy, product vision, and roadmaps

Responsible for driving the content strategy for McAfee’s Risk & Compliance and Security Management products- Member of an “intrepreneurial” team of product specialists and architects that developed McAfee’s Threat Intelligence Exchange and Data Exchange Layer. - Defined and executed on 3-5 year strategy for McAfee Labs’ vision to be the industry leader in security threat intelligence and best-in-class detection efficacy- Developed and executed product content roadmaps based on customer, competitor, and market needs for McAfee Vulnerability Manager (MVM), Policy Auditor (PA), and McAfee Risk Advisor (MRA). - Developed and pitched internal business cases to secure funding for research and development projects resulting in product and content improvements. - Developed business dashboards along with success criteria to monitor and measure the health of McAfee’s Risk & Compliance products. Criteria included being #1 in competitive positioning, detection efficacy of at least 95%, quality detect detection effectiveness higher than 80%, and meeting customer escalation responses within 5 day SLOs (service level objectives)- Conducted Product Portfolio Stack Rankings and Zero Based Budgeting for McAfee’s Security Management Product Portfolio to make resourcing and funding decisions to align with strategic imperatives- Conducted a full cost analysis of McAfee Labs' technologies and content with a distributed allocation across McAfee's product portfolio to determine whether the organization was investing in the best areas for the company’s success- Wrote requirements for products and backend systems based on constant customer interviews, surveys, market research, and competitive intelligence

Responsible for driving organizational improvements in research operations and employee accountability - Organization consisted of 40 employees that researched and developed signatures to protect McAfee’s customers against Spam (unsolicited emails) and malicious websites.- Developed plan to improve operational efficiency and employee engagement- Mentored leaders on various management principles
