Founded in 2019, Raconteur Vietnam is a creative agency based in Hanoi providing brand strategy and brand identity design, production, and influencer marketing services to clients from around the globe. Adopting a storytelling approach, we pride ourselves in the creation, activation and cultivation of powerful and transformational brands, utilizing our design thinking methodologies and user-oriented creative process. We have been engaged by many mission-driven clients ranging from VNR500 enterprises to startups, impact-focused NGOs, social enterprises, and government agencies to deliver meaningful work to promote and amplify the values of innovation, sustainability, equality of education, and economic development of Vietnam.

I was fortunate enough to be a part of an exciting, talented cofounding team of Mathpresso Vietnam. During my 1.5 years in the company, we grew from a modest, unknown presence in Vietnam to becoming the #1 Education App on both iOS and Android, with 3.2 million MAU and 500k+ DAU. Starting from November 2019 (right around the time Covid-19 started to hit), we are proud to say that our team built a product of which traffic grew faster than the spread of the coronavirus.My role in Mathpresso Vietnam could best be described as a "jack of all trades & master of all" :) Our resources were always scarce and our ambitions big, so as a team we pushed ourselves past boundaries and drove the company forward, all the while improving ourselves as individuals. Some big bullet points of my contribution:- Recruited, trained and managed a part-timer employee group of over 200+ members in a span of 2-3 months. This operation helped skyrocketed our key metrics for the app, including SSR (search success rate), DAU, MAU and Retention, paving way for our x20 growth in 1.5 years.- Ideated and developed multiple business models (with serious failures on the way) including partner/franchisee model in education, online liveclasses, 1-on-1 tutor matching, content business (books and digital content). At my time of leaving, we were able to find product-market fit for our franchise business and grew a team of 20 to support 10+ franchisees & 3000+ students in Hanoi. We also validated the book publishing business and sold 700+ books in 3 weeks, leveraging my B2B distributor networks and our app traffic. Other business models were killed after we could not find success with them.- Led the project of building a new learning center in Central Hanoi from scratch with 35K USD budget in 2 months- Helped the company attract and develop an independent, talented and entrepreneurial team of young and driven talents from top universities in Vietnam

- Consulted and implemented social media strategy - Succeeded in attracting 3600+ registers for the event within 5 weeks- Coordinated print design, video production, content creation activities and other multimedia communications- Built key community partnerships and engaged partners to growth hack event attendance
