I worked along with other undergraduate students at Berkeley to conduct research on the effectiveness of current medications on the market for treating Alzheimer's Disease. We made the comparison between the advantages and disadvantages of medicines including (price, effectiveness, route of administration, and in what situation should this drug be used over the other). We also present our final research poster at the lab symposium at the end of the school year.

I was tasked to take care of the mice population of the lab by performing birth checks and weening. I also help collect tissues for DNA amplification, collection, and analysis through lab techniques such as PCR, Gel-Electrophoresis, and SDS-PAGE. I also participated in weekly lab meetings to keep up to date with any lab projections from graduate students. I also assisted graduate students with any tasks as needed
