CurrentHands-on IT manager for the Southeast chapter of a national, commercial construction association. Responsible for developing information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating and anticipating organizational requirements; identifying problems and evaluating trends. Reports directly to the CEO.Collaborates directly with upper management, department heads and team members to ensure delivery and performance requirements are met. Effectively prioritizes technical support issues, on-going initiatives and new projects. Develops organizational IT policies and procedures.Administers computer network for multiple locations. Installs, configures, upgrades and maintains related infrastructure hardware and software. Performs backup and recovery processes.Approves purchases and negotiates service contracts. Works closely with third party vendors to ensure reliable solutions within organization requirements and budgets. Works directly with CFO to create IT budget.
