I was a member of the Brand Activation Team for Listerine and Calpol, who are responsible for all brand operations within Ireland, ensuring market-leading excellence for customers. I worked closely with the 'hub' brand teams in the UK on the development of marketing campaigns and the launch of NPD into the market. Working with Listerine and Calpol, I was able to gain exposure to the Irish BBCH and OTC markets respectively.Main duties & responsibilities:• Budget Management for Brand Marketing Expenditure - Provide advertising & promotion budgetary support to the brand team with responsibility for creating purchase orders, communicating with suppliers and receipting invoices. Responsible for keeping track of the budget and reconciling the spend activity against the hub budget.• Management support of Below the Line campaigns- Organise and co‐ordinate all brand point of sale and detailing materials with design houses, work on digital campaigns and with research companies.• Market Reporting- Support market analysis activities for OTC through the management of market share monthly reports on IMS and for BBCH using Nielsen. Prepare the IMS Fan Data analysis weekly, which is shared internally and externally to our customers.• Cross‐functional relationship management- Act as a critical contact point for the brand activation team, liaise with the Sales, Customer Development teams and Regulatory teams for updates that may impact brand performance.• Communications- Participate in and contribute to the preparation of presentations and materials for the cycle meetings held with the BBCH and OTC Field Sales teams and ensure that they have all the information and materials required to support brand sales.• Competitive intelligence- Track and monitor the New Product Development, promotions, ATL and BTL Campaigns of other key competitor brands and provide updates to the brand teams.
