I am a software engineer that enjoys finding elegant and creative solutions to difficult problems. It is a curiosity that has lead me to focus on a wide variety of fullstack skillsets, like infrastructure, security, authentication, event emitting/tracking systems, adTech, ecommerce integrations, enterprise integrations, webGL, and virtual/augmented reality experiences. I was tech lead for Snaps AR Enterprise Shopping Web SDK (ARES Web), a product that enabled off-platform AR and ML based experiences in 3rd party merchant ecommerce websites. In this role I wrote the initial MVP of our web SDK (merchant integration, event emission), camera-kit experience (snaps camera-kit on the web + enterprise shopping integration), and 3D product visualization experience (Three.js based experience). After MVP we added two other acquisitions made by Snap: Forma (2D image try on, it can apply clothes to a person in an image), and Fit Finder (gives size recommendations for products based on ML and user input) to the SDK, along with their team members. As the longest serving employee in that company, I helped build it from the ground into a viable business, writing and owning many projects. I worked cross-functionally at Vertebrae, writing AR and VR experiences, cloud infrastructure, backend services, automation, and dev tooling.In my roles, I have developed scalable and reliable software solutions that have been experienced by millions of users, mentored junior engineers, and drove technical decision-making across multiple engineering teams.
