- Responsible for short-term optimization of 12 hydro, 2 natural gas and 1 lignite power plants with a total capacity of 3400 MW.- Development of power-plant-specific machine learning models for generation forecasting, which support day-ahead & intraday market operations with increased accuracy in run-of-river PPs generation plans. Created additional value of nearly 0.6 MTL per year by minimizing imbalance.- Development and implementation of ensemble streamflow prediction model as an alternative and further replacement of hydrological models. Reducing the sourcing cost of meteorological and hydrological inputs while improving accuracy in forecasting.- Optimization studies in maintenance planning for merchant power plants, resulting a projected additional 10 MTL gain in 2022.- Transforming the daily reporting routine by constituting MS PowerBI dashboards and applications on reservoir level analysis, meteorological & wind generation forecasts and day-ahead electricity market.
