 Keeps the processing plant running safely and continuously based on Dow Chemical Company standards.  Works as a Field / Panel Operator on a daily basis rotation with the other operators; controls the process operations locally and through a computer based control system (Dynamic Dowtran) then upgraded to ABB System 800xA. Performs sampling analysis of the finished product and takes samples of raw materials deliveries. Responsible for start-up and shutdown of main process units and utilities as per instructions from Supervisor. Monitors raw materials/product storage's capabilities in shift and coordinating to Material Management personnel. Offloads raw materials and loading of product.  Operates the plant in safe condition and take emergency action. Shutdown, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance. Participates in safety and other training sessions according to the plan. Coordinates to the maintenance personnel if there are some malfunctions on the equipment to avoid work stoppage. Properly employs all SOPs, Work Instructions, Training Guides, and forms in the performance of tasks.

Performs walk downs and punch list checking/verification for the equipment and the systems.Updates and mark-ups P&IDs to identify the work completed.Monitors and witness some piping for air blowing, steam purging, lube oil and water flushing activities.Involves in Pre-comm. / Commissioning and Start-up of BOP`s(balance of plant), auxiliaries and equipment. Boiler feed water pump system, Primary/Secondary air fans and air dampers system, Soot blower system, Selective non-catalytic reduction system, Coal and Limestone feeder system, Bed ash coolers system, Closed cooling water system.Coordinates and assists the Vendor representative in commissioning of the equipment.Performs initial test run of rotary and static equipment after verification of all necessary pre-comm./commissioning checklists have been done.Submits progress report to Deputy Mechanical Commissioning Manager.Prepares equipment monitoring checklist.

Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas production process and utility systems by monitoring and controlling wells, process plants, utility equipment and pipeline via SCADA control systems (ABB & Siemens), to ensure production and environmental targets are met. Maintain safeguarding systems (F&G, ESD) at maximum functionality by control of inhibits and overrides and equipment out of service. Monitors and control operational performance of well-head platforms, satellites, water injection, gas treatment and power generation plant. Constantly monitor levels of production and perform well tests as per well test interface schedule and also adjust the water injection well if out of the limits. Monitors the major equipment (like gas compressors, air compressors, HP pumps, turbine generators, etc.), and in case the sequence is aborted, identify the reason and inform the Production supervisor to take corrective action. Monitors and control remotely all plant equipments such as production separators, pumps, compressors, filters, deaerators, turbines, etc., to ensure operational objectives are achieved. Gathers data and assist in preparation of production reports. Prepares detailed and accurate shift activity log and ensure shift handover comprehensive and accurate. Manage chemical stocks and chemical injections optimization. Monitors and report on platform status for duration of any emergency. Monitors and direct plant operators to ensure production routine tasks are completed on time. Participates in the companies training & competency assessment program. Interprets laboratory analysis results and take action to ensure specifications met. Understands and uses P&ID and C&E drawings. Safely and accurately carry out tasks as given by the production supervisor/assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Performs pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up, and safe operation of the utilities system of the Yemen LNG complex.  Updates and mark-ups P&IDs to identify the work completed. Coordinates to client area representatives/operators.. Monitors air/rupture blowing and lube oil/water flushing of lines after hydrotest or pneumatic test of the systems and subsystems by the subcontractor. Performs punch list checking for the equipments and the systems. Prepares daily record data sheets of various units to monitor any abnormalities. Verification/witnessing of pre-commissioning and commissioningactivities in the field. Performs weekly test-run of the temporary seawater intake pumps. Submits progress report to Commissioning Supervisor. Monitors/Assists in commissioning the utilities equipments such as, GTG`s, EDG`s, N2 Generation Units, Air Compressors, Chillers, Desalination Units, Boilers and Firewater System. Member of the ICAPS outstanding punch lists clearing/verification team. Authorized to updates and inputs all verified punch list items related to pipings, vessels and utilities that were completed to ICAPS dossiers.  Ensures the HSE requirements/procedures as defined by the commissioning are adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises the installation/erection of machines such as boilers, dyeing / Finishing machines and also pipelines installation. Prepares maintenance activities for the subordinates. Schedules and coordinates their work as well. Prepares weekly work schedule for the Maintenance Engineers, Technicians and Boiler operators. Creates procedures and coordinates with other departments if there are preventive/corrective maintenance works over the weekend to avoid any delays in the production. Supervises the corrective and preventive maintenance activities including the standby Power Generator 550Kva. Orders any materials/parts required for the maintenance once a month. Prepares preventive maintenance and lubrication schedules of all machines. May provide solutions to various work problems and may recommend work measure to increase productivity. Makes monthly inventory of spare parts, and also in-charge in purchasing of the needed materials. Orients and provides training to new workers and ensures that all of them are aware about the company procedures. Assists in troubleshooting any defective electrical/mechanical equipment. May hires personnel in case of emergency. Evaluates subordinates for their promotion. Implements approved plant changes and modifications as per the requirement. Supervises the maintenance works by contractor. Ensures that standards for safe working conditions are being adhered to.
