I worked with 11 MDs, 6 CNMs, and 4 APRNs. I was the primary RN for one physician but assisted other providers every day. My daily tasks included patient intake, phone and patient portal triage, reviewing lab/imaging results, authorizing orders and refills, helping with prior authorizations, reviewing referrals, and following up on outstanding orders. I also acted as a Circulating Nurse and OR Tech for in-office procedures, including hysteroscopic surgeries. I was a member of the company's Patient Portal Committee which sought to optimize use of the portal with providers and patients. I helped create the Clinical Training Manual and update Clinical Protocols.
