Fashion is my passion, plain and simple. I find my happiness behind a sewing machine or in front of a sketchbook. I also enjoy working with other designers and buyers and helping them bring their products to their respective markets. But most of all, the best part of fashion is making the customer happy. I currently work at the University of Georgia in the Competitive Sports Department. Every day, I work one on one with our participants to provide the highest level of care and service to our customers. This doesn’t just mean following the rulebook given to us during work training. This means listening to the customer. This means talking to the customer. It means understanding what they need or want and going above and beyond to make their wish come true. That’s what the fashion industry is. It’s an industry driven by consumers. Every designer, buyer, merchandiser, advertiser, and the like are trying to provide a product that will satisfy the consumer. There is only one way to provide the proper garment with the proper serviceability. Listen to the customer.
