My passion started in a choir where I felt as though my voice was needed and heard. With my passion for singing, I was able to work hard at correcting my mistakes and improving in sections where I found difficultness. For this, I have found myself working harder in the things I share passion towards, as accounting is my future I apply tons of passion towards the work. Hello, my name is Hilary, I am a junior at Chapman University currently working towards a degree in Accounting, and I have excelled in all my accounting classes thus far.When in high school I was given the role of choir sectional leader and provided guidance to my fellow choir classmates. Working with them as the team leader I was able to help them with challenges and personal conflicts, this role allowed me to improve my leadership skills as well as my critical thinking skills. Upon taking this role I was able to improve on my communication skills, which has allowed me to grow as a better listener and allow me to become a friendlier and confident speaker.I would truly believe that I can contribute my skills and knowledge towards a better future in accounting. I can adapt to changes fairly quickly and keep a persistent workmanship. I also adept in preparing documents such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook. I am currently looking for an audit or tax internship within the LA or OC areas. I would love to have help with expanding my knowledge and skills.
