As the marketing manager at TriMedia Environmental & Engineering, I was focused on providing high-quality professional services across the Midwest and country. In this role, I led B2B marketing efforts, creating engaging written and visual content in digital and print mediums. One of my most fulfilling projects was a complete website redesign and long-awaited switch to a CMS, which I had the exciting opportunity to spearhead. In addition to my design and development work, I developed and managed inbound marketing campaigns, attended trade shows, and guided client communications. My goal as an in-house marketer was to ensure each and every piece that went out the door aligned with TriMedia's brand vision. Before joining TriMedia, I worked for Gap, Inc. I was grateful to work for a large company dedicated to their consumers, who I got to delight on a daily basis with great service and fun products. In this position, I regularly contributed to Degreed's blog. On a weekly basis, I produced a minimum of three educational article with a specialization in science and technology and arts and culture. Each article required varying amounts of research and formatting to be conducted, and each post had to be created with SEO in mind. After publication, promoted the posts via social media channels.

The most recent position I held at Old Navy was the pricing specialist position. I was responsible with maintaining consistent signage and compliant marketing throughout the store. I delegated a team of 5-10 people to put up signs, build/place marketing materials, and mark down product reduced in price. In addition to guiding our marketing team, I was responsible for being the Leader on Duty and was available to assist all cashiers, sales floor associates, logistics associates, and fellow leaders. Prior to that, I specialized in merchandising/stocking product. On a daily basis, I had to come up with creative solutions regarding what would sell, why product was better or worse in a certain location, and how projects were going to be completed in a timely matter. As a women's merchandiser, I managed a team of about 20 employees. As a sales associate, I completed basic tasks such as cash register transactions, fitting room attending, and sales floor recovery.

TSE is paired up with the K Wings hockey team in Kalamazoo, MI. As an intern, I had a responsibility to operate cameras, graphics, replay, or the switcher for live sporting events.

Working at Western Michigan University's College of Arts and Sciences aided in my education in communications. I frequently answered phone calls from both students and faculty to aid in minor troubleshooting. In the event the problem could not be solved over the phone, I filled out detailed work orders and alerted the IT staff on duty to promptly attend to the issue. Furthermore, I was responsible for the cleanliness of our computer labs, answer any student or faculty's questions about technological equipment, and regulate the flow of traffic in and out of the labs.

As a sales support associate, I worked early morning shifts to receive shipment, process product, and merchandise. I also worked to maintain organization and cleanliness of the back of house. Customer service duties included: Interacting with customers, answering questions, and making sales both on the floor or in the fitting room.

As an Intern at PMN, I was able to produce, direct, shoot, and edit all of my own projects. I was sent to local seminars and sporting events to capture the action. After it was competed, it would then air on the public access channel in Kalamazoo. I was even given the opportunity to direct a live broadcast of the KWings Pink Ice game.
