I have more than twenty (20) years' worth of experience with management of staff and projects. My main focus is legal and compliance work, culminating in my certification of CCSA by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Most recently, I was proud to be part of USAA as a Quality Assurance Lead. My responsibilities included ensuring compliance for regulatory change management, mitigation action plans, as well as pre- and post-response consumer complaints. I also assisted with risk identification by identifying trends in management's performance of processes and procedures.My previous experience and certification gave me a unique insight during my work as a commission-track Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Although my main focus was AML / BSA, I also provide support and expertise during consumer compliance examinations.Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, I was the Chief Compliance Officer for UCB, Inc., an industry leader in strategic receivables management. My focus was ensuring compliance with the law, and partnering this effort with exceptional customer service.Prior to this, I was an AVP and Compliance Manager with Huntington, "the local bank with national resources". I left one of the "Wall Street Firms" to join a smaller company with a focus on their employees, their customers, and the communities they serve. Their attention to detail and customer-centric attitude was refreshing in the financial services industry.
