Assist partner and two associates in all phases of litigation: draft and finalize correspondence, discovery pleadings, trial briefs, appellate briefs, notices of removal from State Court to Federal Court, motions in limine, jury instructions, voir dire, judicial council forms, coverage opinions and medical chronologies. Filings in State Courts, Federal Courts (E-Filings - ECF system) and U.S. Court of Appeal. Extensive interaction with courts, opposing counsel and legal community for purposes of scheduling client meetings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, early settlement conferences and trials. Act a liaison to witnesses for appearances at depositions, mediations and trials, coordinate travel/transportation, independent medical examinations and examinations under oath.Screening and interviewing of Spanish speaking clients for preparation and processing of judicial council forms for marital dissolutions, child custody and visitation, preparation of discovery and to inform of litigation process and settlement negotiations. Coordinate with outside vendors, legal service agencies and investigators for completion of mass production projects, subpoena service/surveillance and court filings.Prepare training materials for attorney and client seminars. Time entry, monthly billing, accounts payables and monthly statistical reports.
