My job is to help international high schoolers develop the soft skills needed to succeed in college and beyond by optimizing student's extra-curricular profiles and developing capstone projects such as small business ventures, conferences, and online blogs that fit and expand student's interests. Additionally, I edit college applications and prepare students for application interviews Former students have been accepted to Harvard, Brown, MIT, Georgia Tech, & NYU.

Awarded to 8 Harvard Graduates for the purpose of postgraduate immersion and research in a foreign culture, I embarked on a project to study and learn the national folkloric dances of the Panamanian Pollera as sites of cultural understanding that combine historical elements and narratives of slavery, colonialism, and second and third wave migration periods into a multi-racial national symbol.

Research and write reports assessing the impact and effectiveness of existing local lead prevention and treatment services. Identify and strategize a New York Statewide plan to develop and consolidate non-profit and private resources to fund healthy housing and public policy initiatives to eliminate childhood lead poisoning. Attend conferences and local community events as an initiative representative and promoter.

One of five undergraduate research interns tasked with cite-checking and pulling sources for incoming law review articles using online databases such as WestLaw, HeinOnline, and library catalogues. I maintained and organized our sources through Google sheets, docs and Dropbox. I helped plan the annual Harvard Law Review banquet of over 300 guests of notable alumni, law professors, and students and managed on-site event needs three years running.

Create and facilitate workshops for more than 300 teaching fellows, faculty, and administrators to create equitable classrooms by addressing issues and structures of power, privilege, and identity. Create and provide workshops for over 500 undergraduates for ethically engaged field work in diverse local neighborhoods. Conduct undergraduate student surveys and translate conversations, observations, and findings into quantitative and thematic data.

Three term seasonal intern at a civil rights firm that primarily litigated educational and workplace discrimination as well as children's rights. During my time I researched, drafted and filed legal pleadings, motions, and affidavits using WordPerfect and LexisNexus. I prepared and interviewed clients for depositions and trial examination, as well as prepared evidentiary discovery and binders for trial. Administratively I managed the office scheduling, correspondence, and general invoicing and client billing.

Conduct archival and community-based research in Stockton, California in order to create and analyze a local history of Stockton’s criminal justice system, police relations, and city development. Document and interview community members, city officials, and grass root organizers.

One of five undergraduate research partners to support Professor Minow's latest book "When Should the Law Forgive" (2020) by independently researching the role of forgiveness in the justice system through alternative restorative justice practices and the study of codified racism in technological algorithms for recidivism. I used a multi-disciplinary research approach and presented findings in short memos to Professor Minow and our research cohort.
