Four years in public health research, nine years in media organizations, over six years teaching at the college level, over six years as a business owner, and four years in non-profits (large and small). Trained in public health (the study of disease and health in populations), political economy (the study of how socioeconomic systems impact people's lives), and economics (the reduction of human behavior to mathematical formulas). I participate in civil society and am trained as a community emergency response volunteer.
