My name is Heather, though I prefer to go by Hilde. I hail from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and spent nine years in the Nuclear Pharmaceutical field as a Licensed and Certified Pharmacy Technician. I paused my career to care for my children, who have health conditions, and have been homeschooling them since 2018. My passion lies in writing and crafting designs that convey unique narratives, open to various interpretations based on individual perspectives. Transitioned to homeschooling in 2018 to prioritize my child’s medical needs, demonstrating adaptability and dedication. My daughter who was born with VSD and had to have a lot of my time and attention. She was in the Children's hospital in downtown Chicago. I have been married for 14 years, and last September his work told him he's gonna be moving to a news city. Quite the big change in my house. I actually have more time now to focus on Freelancing. Everyday I put 40 minutes aside I write, design what ever idea comes to my head, I study vocab and take little quizzes with my children. Me and My children and I study vocabulary terms through online quizzes together. We also practice our Duolingo we each chose a languages: Dutch, German, and Japanese, we make it into a game and it gets a little competitive towards each other. My artistic vision, especially in creating designs that challenge conventional perspectives, sets me apart in the field of design. As I embark on a freelancing career, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and creative insight, ready to achieve success in this new venture. Among my hobbies, I enjoy immersing myself in MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, Star Trek Old Republic, and Archeage, with Star Trek ranking as my favorite television series. I am skilled in organizing our homeschool, managing time, projects, and relationships. I am also proficient at controlling chaos and staying focused on tasks. I foster empathy and teach life skills, time management, and how to communicate effectively. My Curriculum Development: research, design, and explain the curriculum that's tailored to each children’s needs and interest levels. Breaking down complex topics into manageable segments, tailored to their learning abilities and developmental stages.
