Role summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver exceptional quality services to ICAS clients, within the Absence Management services of IOD (Injury on Duty) /AID (Absence, Incapacity and Disability) /MSK (Musculoskeletal) product offerings. Key drivers of this role is the effective engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders, efficient case management, as well as, the ability to continually improve, simplify and streamline processes, while consistently providing the highest level of service. Operational duties and responsibilities:- Developing, implementing, review and managing internal standard operational processes, procedures (SOP’s) and systems. - Ongoing monitoring of service quality and standards, as well as continuous identification and streamlining of inefficiencies. - Ensure effective communication between the team, internal and external stakeholders and third party service providers. - Ensure accurate data capturing as per data quality standards in order to provide comprehensive reporting data to clients. - Drive innovation by developing new concepts and product improvements that will enhance the service offering. - Ensure the timeous and efficient response to queries and complaints with a satisfactory outcome. Case management and consultant duties and responsibilities: - Efficient case management ensuring the best possible outcome, preventing long-term disability, promoting early return to work and reduce absenteeism. - Ensure compliance with the Injury on Duty (IOD) processes and procedures and provide additional support and guidance to the employer and employee. - Identify potential barriers to recovery from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions and appropriately manage these risks.- Effectively empower and guide the employee toward taking ownership of their own health through education and where applicable facilitate health behaviour changes.
