About Hilde Stawski

I am a Senior Bioinformatician at BaseClear in Leiden, Netherlands. For me this is the ideal combination of my background in biology and my interest in IT. Together with my team I develop and maintain our many bioinformatics pipelines in the Nextflow framework. In addition I perform custom and standard bioinformatics analyses for our customers and work together with the Product Development team to create new innovative products. I enjoy problem solving and process improvement. I streamlined our software development processes for which I set up JIRA Service Desk, JIRA Software and BitBucket, and implemented software development guidelines for our team. I’m also a certified Scrum Master. A team that has fun together works better together, which is why I’ve been part of the BaseClear personnel association for over three years, organizing events and outings. I'm a friendly, enthusiastic worker with good work ethic and love learning new things on a daily basis.
