Med afsæt i museets strategiske mål, samlingen af kunst gennem 700 år, forskningen og presserende spørgsmål i kulturen og den offentlige debat, er jeg med til at kuratere og formidle museets særudstillinger. Arbejdet handler lige så meget om kunsten, som om at stimulere nye blikke på museets muligheder for at engagere mennesker med forskellige stemmer og forudsætninger for at deltage, skabe mening og samarbejde.

Jeg har i 2017 sammen med Lene Crone Jensen grundlagt kuratorfællesskabet KUNST:form som forbinder diverse dannelsesrum med samtidskunstscenen, for at give plads til nye svar på udfordringer i vores fælles kultur og samtid.Med udgangspunkt i toneangivende kunstneres praksisser og unges identifikation af brændpunkter i deres liv, kuraterer KUNST:form eksperimenterende samarbejder, der resulterer i udstillinger, events og takeovers i kunstinstitutioner og andre offentlige rum.Vores metoder styrker praksisfællesskaber og co-produktion i kunstneriske og pædagogiske miljøer. Vi samler aktører på tværs af fag og traditioner, optimerer eksisterende ressourcer og skaber en ny kulturel organisering, som kvalificerer kunstens potentiale og relevans for alle parter.OPGAVERSiden 2018 har KUNST:form arbejdet med universet IMAGINARIUM hvor kunstnere, kunsthaller, skoler og unge udvikler kunsthallernes professionelle programmer og deler viden på hjemmesiden www.imaginarium.dkMed udviklingsmidler fra Bikuben afprøvede IMAGINARIUM i 2018 samarbejdsmetoder med Den Frie, Fotografisk Center, Charlottenborg, Søren Thilo Funder, Jacob Tækker og elever fra skoler i hovedstadsområdet.KUNST:form har siden fortsat samarbejdet med Charlottenborg om Børnene Bestemmer som dog i 2020 måtte aflyses pga corona.Vi kuraterede i 2020 udstillingsprojektet Ned På Jorden til Fotografisk Center med E. B. Itso og elever fra FGU, Nørrebro om unges forhold til deres by, historie og fremtid med udgangspunkt i sporene efter BZ-bevægelsen i 1980’erne. KUNST:form rådgiver også kulturinstitutioner om strategiske spørgsmål i koblingen mellem kunst og unge. Vi har bl.a. bistået udviklingen af STUDIO til Copenhagen Contemporary og rådgivet ART2030 i arbejdet med udvikling af en stærk social læringsprofil.KUNST:form drives af en bestyrelse som tegnes af Karen Grøn (formand), direktør Trapholt, Rikke Winther, kunstner og kandidat i materiel kultur og undertegnede.

As the municipality's consultant for arts and culture addressing children at the age 0 - 16 my focus was to qualify and facilitate collaborative projects and learning activities initiated by professional artists or cultural institutions (museums, historic sites, science centres, archives etc). Participants were groups of children living in the area of Gentofte, either in their daycare, schools, families or residential neighbourhoods.To fulfill the existing national and local cultural and educational policies I developed and conducted new strategic partnerships and platforms of experience between cultural institutions, independent artists or cultural entrepreneurs - and different educational environments. Striving to engage and embrace a diversity of citizens and support a cultural democracy agenda I worked with a range of artistic and social practices.

My overall focus has been to develop inspiring learning resources for target groups of formal learners - children and young people primarily - in relation to the temporary exhibitions on display. My didactic designs have included methods of dialogue, cooperative reflections, process writing, drawing exercises and workshop elements with a focus on performance, photo/video and creative digital strategies. I have engaged in a diversity of projects and partnerships always with a particular interest in the intersections between learning, curating and new museology.EDUCATIONAL MATERIALSI have written and produced over 40 printed or digital ressources together with artists and graphic designers that support and provide interdisciplinary learning for pupils and students before, under and after visits. EXHIBITIONS FOR CHILDREN/YOUNG PEOPLEAs co-curater of the annual exhibition for children, I have conducted several ambitious collaborative processes. In these exhibition projects artists are invited to contribute to an interactive and site responsive art experience together with the learning team and curators of the art centre, each offering a distinct professional perspective.LONG TERM OUTREACH PROJECTS I have regularly developed long term outreach projects with artists and residents in various underserved communities of the city. ArtReach (2009-2012) and pArt of Valby (2012-2016) were the largest projects I was in charge of.COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS BETWEEN ARTISTS AND SCHOOLSBased on a common aestetic examination of subjects, disciplines and close collaboration with teachers I have conducted a significant number of collaborative projects between professional artists and schools. RESEARCHI was strongly involved in the national action research based project 'Museer og kulturinstitutioner som rum for medborgerskab' examining notions of active citizenship as a driver for cultural democracy and social inclusion in ten Danish cultural institutions.

In 2010 I was appointed head of the Learning and Experience programme of the Copenhagen Art Festival 2012. Together with the Experience and Learning team I developed an outreach ambassador programme of participatory projects where artists and over 300 individuals from schools and working places collaborated on artworks dealing with interpretations of communities. Parallel to this I developed a comprehensive public programme KUNST NU! of site responsive art labs or artists workshops, photo batons, guided tours and interdisciplinary city walks passing and discussing all the festivals public art works as well as the city as a community framing them.
