I am a biotechnology researcher with expert knowledge in the policy and ethical conversations around infertility. Utilizing over 14 years of clinical science research experience, I saw a need for more robust, transparent and accessible research on infertility and infertility technologies and this led to my dissertation work on the ethical guidelines and policies surrounding egg donation and the founding of Humanize Infertility. I am now an activist for positive change that enables women to make informed and autonomous decisions about their health and wellbeing. My education and my clinical research experience have enabled me to develop extensive experience and skills in developing a thorough research strategy and design that evaluates emerging science and technology trends, and past practices, and how such research applies to future public policy implications and advancements in the scientific knowledge base and ultimately standard care. My strong research and analytical skills enable me to gain an in depth perspective on how a scientific field, and its policies, influence the practice and utilization of the technology by the public. This includes the identification and recognition of relevant ethical concerns that can often play a significant role in the development of science and technology policy. I aim to apply my knowledge and my skills with my passion to help others, to be a positive change, and to truly leave a positive imprint on the hearts and lives of others through work with a purpose.
