I have been on the Board of Trustees for the Evanston Fourth of July Association since 2005 and was Secretary 2010-2012 and Treasurer from 2012 to 2016. I was the Parade Director from 2007 through 2013, culminating with my 7th parade, celebrating Evanston's sesquecentenial. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, group that provides all of the 4th of July activities for the community of Evanston, IL, including family games, a parade, a live concert at the lakefront, and our spectacular fireworks. Managed all aspects of operations from client requests to bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payable. * Recruited, staffed and escorted three groups of college-aged youth to Israel on 10-day educational programs under auspices of SPNI and birthright israel. * Managed all levels of operations for individual and small group tours overseas. * Designed new documents, forms, brochures, and newsletter to facilitate correspondence, resulting in more accurate record keeping and more effective marketing.

Assistant to Senior Rabbi and Cantor * Coordinated daily schedules and appointment calendars for Senior Rabbi and Cantor. * Edited and proofread both English and Hebrew language texts of new service prayer book, synagogue brochures and other publicity materials, and helped design documents and forms, facilitating synagogue record keeping.
