I am an Emmy award-winning design leader and storyteller, employing bold, multi-platform innovations to solve the world’s greatest challenges. As SpaceX's first Director of Design, I was privileged to lead the visual strategy and narrative for a new era of human spaceflight while conceptualizing human experience for current and future spacecraft. As Chief Design & Marketing Officer at Vast my mission continues with the development of long term life in space and the world’s first commercial space station.Outside of aerospace, my background in design leadership extends to Google product innovation, Apple Watch fitness and ground-up product development for the high speed satellite internet service Starlink. Outside of my career, I am a commercial pilot and instructor, astronaut candidate, drag racing record holder and advocate for young women and men entering STEM fields. More specifically, my humanitarian efforts include working with the Department of Education on the National STEM Festival and advising XPRIZE on new ways to incentivize radical breakthroughs that move humanity forward. As a storyteller, design leader and experience architect I endeavor to advance the conceptual thinking, design, and execution of solutions that empower life on this planet and the moonshots that follow.
