I solve problems! 🧰 My toolbox includes data 📈, active listening 🎧, and empathy 💙.Why do I love data? Because I love storytelling, information, and learning. Every company has data that can be employed, but if it is not understood and then utilized in decision-making, it is not being fully engaged. Besides just the data of numbers, I want the information from a client, so that I can fully understand what problem they need solved. Understanding the story behind the data, providing structure to it, and telling the story you want to tell is key to using information effectively. I believe that knowledge is our greatest tool for telling our personal stories. This passion led me to join Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, a gender-inclusive Fraternity. Through them I have improved my leadership and communication skills, by working on collaborative local and national boards with people from diverse backgrounds. Leadership needs to be rooted in honest and authentic communication. Phi Sigma Pi’s support of growth and personal development has enabled me to truly understand myself and others, and therefore better connect to others through my personal story. It also introduced me to Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY). When I first volunteered as a facilitator in 2016 little did I know the influence it would have on my life. Through helping guide students to discover and develop their best selves and leadership qualities, I have improved my own abilities. Through HOBY’s focus on leadership and bettering society I have helped students best tell their story. Everyone’s story is different and that’s what makes us all special. Fun Fact: I’m a Theater Geek and Book Nerd! 🤓 I love the stories that are told through theater and books. Both allow me to delve into a world different than my own and learn through those. My passion for these areas circles right back to my love of gathering and using information. I love seeing stories be told, whether they are personal or in fictional worlds. What makes me different is that I can straddle both worlds; I’m information-driven and have great empathy for people and their stories.I’m so excited to be working at Broadway Plus helping to both bring Broadway to people through virtual events and people to Broadway through group tickets.
