Helped develop the newly reformed sales division of Amherst, where we would buy, renovate and sell homes. Worked with Acquisitions, Operations, Asset Management and Sales teams to make sure processes were running smoothly. Created decks for the Head of Operations to present to Executives that report on progress made in the division.

Carried out the Competitive Market Analysis for each land deal to help determine potential revenues, and thereby, an appropriate acquisition price. Compiled presentation materials to pitch these deals to corporate executives. Coordinated the payment of all deposits and closing amounts according to the terms of the Purchase and Sale Agreement.

Conducted financial modeling and market research on parcels where RODA could potentially design and build projects. Met regularly with principals to discuss feasibility of these models and next steps required for possible acquisition. Piloted business development for RODA and their architecture arm, Office DFK, by networking with developers, city planners, and other industry professionals.

Handled all accounts payable and receivable for over 40 retail and office properties across Utah. Issued payments and reconciled property accounts using YARDI Genesis2. Contacted vendors for bids and drafted contracts to be reviewed by the Property Manager. Compiled monthly financial statements and processed equity distributions to send out to property owners.

Assisted the newly formed Real Estate division in streamlining their office organizational processes. Digitized all leases representing the County as Landlord and County as Tenant. Pulled key dates out of contract agreements and communicated these to the County Real Estate Manager. Attended County Council meetings that involved real estate matters.

Oversaw the accounting and management of the building-adjacent tenant/public parking lot in Downtown Salt Lake City. Responded to tenant concerns and relayed such information to the Property Manager. Issued work orders for maintenance needs and routed these to the building’s Head Engineer. Assisted in drafting vendor contracts and lease agreements.

Interfaced directly with clients to evaluate and create the most appropriate insurance plans. Leveraged appraisals provided by mortgage companies to evaluate property value. Licensed to produce and sell Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance in the state of Utah.
