This includes writing the Back Bar Blog, exclusively for professional hairdressers, and the multi-week emails to promote the blog articles on hair-color technique, trends, product launches, and socially significant touchpoints, such as Pride, Black History, and Sustainability.* Write marketing and sales presentations, video, stage scripts, and industry speeches for Joico executives for appearances at national hair shows and other industry events, such as Behind The Chair, and JoiCon, their annual professional conference. * Write consumer education, news, service articles, quizzes, and weekly emails for Joico’s HairJoi Blog, covering topics such as eco-friendly/sustainable hair care, trend cut-and-color round-ups, beauty gift guides, gray coverage, and seasonal care articles — distributed across the brand’s multiple channels (email, video, blog, and social media).* Conceptualize and brainstorm new-product names, and write dozens of product descriptions each year for all launches and collections, which appear on the brand’s site, Amazon, Ulta, and distributors CosmoProf and Salon Centric.Highlight: Brainstorm headlines, taglines, and ideas for large new-product campaigns, including writing “Guardians of the Glam” – a promotional comic book distributed to hairdressers nationwide to showcase the launch of a new hair-protection collection.
