I worked as an inpatient therapist with veterans in long term care and then with senior in a sub-acute program called Restorative Care. I also spent a year working with Spinal Cord injured clients at at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center

In addition to academics I was a varsity athlete and coached the Nordic Ski team for McMaster for 2 years.

Studied Honors Biology, Gerontology and went on to do a Professional Degree in Occupational TherapyI was a member and then coach of the McMaster Nordic Ski Team
