CurrentSome of my long-term assignments (3 years or more) include:K+S Salt 2016 – currentReporting to the MD, I provide contract and legislative compliance advice; advocacy with Tribunal and State regulator; lead land access negotiations with Traditional Owners; and negotiated the supply of 300,000 tonnes of armour rock for the project, which is its highest value capital expenditure item.Oz Minerals (West Musgraves Project) 2013 – 2022Reporting to the Executive Leadership Teams of the various project owners of the project – BHP, Cassini Resources and Oz Minerals – I provide strategic advice on: - community engagement strategy- mining agreement-making - Reviewing Social Performance documents - Equator Principles and Human Rights- regulatory obligations such as the cultural heritage legislation- attending the mining agreement meetings as an observer and provide feedback and strategic adviceOrigin 2013 – 2016I was responsible for providing legislation and contract guidance; advocacy with state regulator and Tribunal; and lead the negotiations with the two external stakeholders and their legal teams.Horizon Power 2011 – 2014My team and I managed stakeholder negotiations and approvals across regional Western Australia. BC Iron 2009 - 2014Reporting to the MD, my team and I were engaged to lead land access negotiations with the Palyku and Nyiyaparli Peoples to secure all approvals. I was able to reach an agreement within three months and developed an excellent working relationship with these very important stakeholders in the process.BHP 2006 – 2009Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs, I project managed a number of projects across Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland to secure land access.
