The International Border Management and Technologies Association (IBMATA) is a not for profit international non-governmental organisation committed to the safe and secure movement of people and goods across international borders.

Running all SMi's conferences in the Asia-Pacific region. General Management of the local office includes:- Production - Sales- Business Development- Logistics- Marketing- Accounts- Regional Research

Managing the Defence and Security sector of the business. Working on developing the sector with the inclusion of new conferences and content ideas.

Main Responsibilities Included:- Organising and running all Hitachi GST's events in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). - Work to strict deadlines and liaise on a daily basis with the sales team in Europe. - Work at different levels of intensity and manage my time effectively. - I organised and ran 135 events across EMEA. - Carrying out market research to improve return on investment from events.- Run all the EMEA campaigns with creative agencies working from concept to completion. - Working on Direct Marketing, Email, Web design, event campaigns.- Taking part in brainstorming with creative agencies on a monthly basis.- Managing the EMEA Channel Marketing budget, meaning I had to allocate funds efficiently and work within the restrictions I was given. - I wrote all PR on the majority of events across EMEA- Worked with PR manager to develop a good description of products for events and campaigns.- Developed Hitachi website describing products.

Main Responsibilities included:- An introduction to software developing, testing and project management. - I spent time doing some basic software programming in C#, followed by running tests on the software.- I also undertook some project management training in project planning using MS Project, managing software development processes and attended some client meetings.
