My recent health and safety experience includes: advising global and international clients on safety related issues; co-ordinating an EMEA health and safety helpline for a worldwide aircraft and engine manufacturer; acting for a national energy company after an offshore helicopter crash involving seven fatalities;acting for an international chemical company following a significant explosion at their plant; representing a wide range of companies and organisations in Coroner's Inquests and subsequent HSE and Police investigations; acting for a local authority following a fatal accident involving a piece of inflatable artwork in which two members of the public were tragically killed; acting for an NHS Trust after a patient in the community killed a charity worker; advising an international offshore organisation following a platform evacuation; acting for a national construction and fleet company in respect of a Traffic Commissioner investigation. Leading on ESG (Environmental Social Governance) matters for global clients. My environmental experience includes defence of pollution and waste offences, permitting issues, challenges to and appeals against statutory notices and packaging waste. I also provide a wide range of international compliance advice so clients can ensure they meet all relevant legal obligations regarding the products and services their businesses generate.I have extensive experience of all areas of regulatory law and criminal procedure in the Magistrates'​, Crown and Coroners' Courts, as well as crisis management, regulatory compliance, investigation and enforcement. I am a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the Higher Criminal Courts.
