During my internship at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Tamansari, Bandung, I worked as a Data Scientist with a focus on weather data processing and developing predictive models to mitigate the risk of radioactive leakage in the BRIN nuclear area of Bandung. I was responsible for managing and analyzing meteorological data (wind direction, wind speed, temperature, humidity, and rainfall) to build machine learning-based forecasting models that provide early warnings related to the potential spread of hazardous substances.In this project, I utilized LSTM and ARIMA models to predict weather patterns and help mitigate risks, while collaborating with the team to optimize the model results. This experience allowed me to work directly with large-scale data and apply data science techniques to contribute to public safety and disaster mitigation in high-risk environments.
