I am an entrepreneur based out of San Francisco, CA. I have been part of four seed stage startups, twice as a founder and another two times as a direct report of the founder. Currently, I am building Contactless Front Offices for doctors to offload financial aspects of the practice to their website. HamiltonPay integrates with the EMR used by the doctor and automates error-prone and interconnected manual tasks related to insurance, payments, and scheduling so that the clinic can focus on the medical aspects of treatment and see more patients and get all their dues on time. Most recently, I was a consulting architect @ PagoFX, working on programmable financial services to build a new payments network independent of the card network. Before PagoFx, I was the only principal engineer at SimplyCredit. We built a new automated credit line to refinance credit card debt every month, improve credit scores, and lower the interest burden. Our product could refinance around 1500 credit cards from thirty credit unions spread over the US.From 2013-16, I started gozoomo to create a standardized p2p used car marketplace in India. We grew from an idea to five cities facilitating around 500 cars per month. We shut down the company and returned the money to investors after being unable to figure out a business model.From 2010-13 I worked at Bankbazaar. I joined bankbazaar before it got series A. I was a part of the initial five engineers of Bankbazaar.com who built the core product that enabled the three largest private banks to start lending online. I was also involved in scaling the engineering team from five to twenty as we grew from hosting the lending products for two of the top five private banks to all the private banks. I designed the core protocol product that interfaced with multiple core banking systems and TCP/IP protocols to enable instant lending on the browser. I left bankbazaar just before series B to pursue entrepreneurial activities.In my amateur career at college, I was awarded the best guy in technology affairs from my hostel for my achievements. In my third year, I helped create one of India's most visited student-run websites. I wrote the first version online donation portal of IIT Kharagpur, brought the placement process online, started ACM ICPC on campus, built an encrypted file system for fun, and tinkered with compilers to optimize the number of operations in a single clock cycle.
