I learnt to Code to better Culinary Economics.My love for the Food & Beverage industry has always remained constant, be it tossing ingredients or tossing data. My goal is to go beyond the usual practices of restaurant administration and prioritise the use of data to render previously unimaginable solutions to food businesses.As a hospitality student, I was very inclined towards building a domain in food production. My interest eventually evolved towards the economics of food production.While finding a modern approach to optimising restaurant administration, I was convinced that Machine Learning can deliver accurate breakdowns of raw material usage in an individual dish. Exploring proprietary machine learning algorithms materialised my elementary hypothesis - Ingredient usage can be determined in a dish/product without knowing its recipe.This enabled me in assisting Restaurants to deepen their understanding about the profitability of individual dishes and its fluctuations.I have successfully assisted Food Business in administration, menu engineering, inventory optimisations and more.I founded GigaTasking as a result of combining my domain in commercial food production and my enthusiasm towards using data for facilitating Food Production. At GigaTasking, we enable emerging restaurants and food businesses to conduct data driven operations and deliver customised solutions.Since the inception of Gigatasking I have optimised an average of 23% of revenue for its clients.I love to discuss everything about F&B and exploring new perspectives.
