I am currently working in the AWS Analytics group helping customers get value out of their data.Previous roles at AWS2015-2020: I was part of the launch team for AWS IoT Core and spent 5 years leading design and development of customer facing features and significant storage storage re-architecture projects.2013-2015: Prior to this, I worked with AWS Database Services to help increase availability of high-performance replicated cloud databases.

Help Professor Skiena with the course CSE 373 Analysis of Algorithms as a Teaching Assistant.Duties involve preparing solutions for the assignments and the exams and grading the papers.

Implemented a Solr Search Engine to search a data of 5 million news tickers in 0.1 sec, 95% reduction when compared to the earlier oracle based search engine time of 2 secAutomated the process of the data, by writing SQL queries and multi threaded python scripts. Optimized the scripts to reduce execution time by 90%.Wrote another heavily multithreaded load generator in python to benchmark the search engine and calculate the throughput vs latency for heavy simultaneous requests.

Part of the team that developed Mobile Web App Runtime to handle the web applications on the latest Samsung smartphones on both Android and Bada OS (mainly used C/C++ on .NET platform)Developed API for apps related to Google search, Camera functions, Geo location, and accelerometerWork included developing modules which handled the full operational lifecycle of the web applicationsDeveloped an interactive website using Dynamic HTML, Python and Ajax which allowed users to generate a unique test case and send it across the server to execute the testsDeveloped test scripts for running unit test cases and sanity tests for the Web Applications Environment
