As a Senior Manager in Mechanical Maintenance at Reliance Power, I lead the preventive, predictive, breakdown, and overhauling maintenance of various equipment and systems in the 6x660 MW Sasan Power Plant, one of the largest integrated power projects in India. I have over nine years of experience in this field, and I hold an Executive Program in Operations Management from IIM Calcutta, a Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering from NPTI Nagpur, and several certifications in ISO auditing, Lean & Six Sigma, and vibration analysis.My mission is to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of the power plant operations, while also implementing modifications and innovations related to efficiency improvement, quality, safety, environment, and energy conservation. I have successfully managed the inventory, budget, planning, procurement, inspection, hiring, and contract management aspects of the maintenance function, using my functional knowledge of SAP. I have also trained and empowered the employees and contractual staff on the management systems, processes, behaviors, safety, and environment standards.
