I’m thrilled to announce I am moving upwards into a new role as the Volunteer and Development Coordinator for Judi’s House! I’m honored to be apart of yet another incredible organization whose mission is close to my heart. In this role I will be recruiting, screening and training volunteers in addition to soliciting and recording donations, operating fundraisers and performing traditional development tasks. What we do:By investing in direct service, training, and research, we help whole families adjust to loss and prepare for future challenges.Drawing from nearly two decades of experience and learning, our Comprehensive Grief Care® (CGC) Model positively impacts children through a developmental perspective that appreciates the uniqueness of every grief journey, while preventing and addressing complications of bereavement. Comprehensive Grief Care® advances a wellness approach to grief support that includes a continuum of preventive, whole child, family, and community services.We believe supporting children grieving a death loss builds connection and coping that leads to healing. All services and programs are provided at no cost. We rely entirely on private donations and our community of dedicated volunteers to fulfill our mission.

Spread is a collaborative operation and registered 501 3(c) Non-Profit in Richmond, VA focused on connecting grassroots charities with communities through specialized events and curated content. As the director of Spread I head all event coordination including design, booking, and assembly. In addition, I manage every financial aspect of the project and create all content for our social media platforms. We have successfully hosted both virtual and physical festivals centered around partnerships between grassroots charities and musicians.

As the advocacy coordinator for The Gradient Perspective I assist the label in creating philanthropic outreach that is represented with branded content and is centered around their ideals. I work closely with TGP to create initiatives that represent their mission and keep the label connected to its community.

Joining the wonderful team at WeeCycle as a Philanthropy Development Officer! In this role I will be directly collaborating in writing and implementing state / federal grants, building fundraising event opportunities and coordinating donation distributions that assist single, undocumented and otherwise vulnerable mothers find resources for their new borns here in Colorado. I am honored to have this opportunity to support our community and gain valuable experience grant writing for a powerful organization.

As the Volunteer and Event coordinator with Amp the Cause I organize teams of volunteers through our corporate sponsors while assisting in the creation and logistical structuring of our major fundraising events.

As a field organizer for HeadCount I recruit and schedule teams of volunteers, train new volunteers, and manage the entire process of constructing voter registration tables at events as well as promote their presence on social media platforms. I am also directly interfacing with staff at local concert venues and tour production crews from our affiliated bands. Over the course of the year I have managed teams at multiple music festivals and concerts including Dead & CO, Camp Bisco, Moonrise, etc.

As a server at Commune I studied farm to table service, organic farming, and practice environmentally conscious food preparation. Commune locally sourced over 90% of its goods and maintains its own farm here in Hampton Roads (New Earth Farm). I was responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, serving guests, and crafting espresso among most other FOH duties.. This is my favorite service job to date, as it encourages healthy life habits in addition to keeping a tight knit but professional atmosphere. I worked an avg. of 60hrs weekly waiting tables here.

From 2015 - 2017 I was both a paid and unpaid journalist for Virginia Commonwealth Universities student press The Commonwealth Times. During this period I covered a large range of topics for their opinion and news section, including: LGTBQA+ rights and studies, womens issues, student health and wellness, and mental health studies.

As the owner and operator of Get Fido Fit I worked hands on as a sitter, walker and trainer for dogs with behavioral issues. I worked with multiple clients daily. I handled scheduling, advertising, accounting, and face-t0-face client contact. Get Fido Fit was a registered independent practice that began in Chesapeake and moved to Richmond in 2015. Over two years I serviced over 75 clients and was the number one in-home dog sitting agency in Richmond the summer of 2016.
