I was a data management wizard at one of the largest publishers in the world! I assisted as a key team member in the eBook department, mostly in data management and production workflow. This included coordinating with each department (QA, contracts, eBook production vendor) to track and manage the eBook workflow from initiation to release. I used a data management software called Title Management Module to generate eISBNS, input lost data such as book descriptions to push to our retailers. I also sourced book files, which meant tracking down and ordering editions of books we didn't have a digital or hard copy of. I would then ship these to our production vendor.This was an amazing experience in digital production and I learned so much both about the process as well as working on a team in a corporate environment.
