Since 2003 I have lived in Manila, Philippines and have pioneered the delivery of highly complex services to a wide variety of Fortune 1000 clients in the United States focusing heavily in the Health Information Management arena. My international management experience includes establishing a variety of operations around the world including multiple sites in the U.S., Philippines, Malaysia, Puerto Rico and Scotland. Through these engagements I have honed skills in the areas of: Health Information Management, Operations Management, IT Operations and Services, BPO, Captive/Global In House Centers, Project Management, Process Improvement, Business Strategy, Security and Consulting. I maintain very active Government, Industry and Academe relationships throughout the Philippines via industry association participation and board level management.Expertise and Highlights Founded MediCall the industry pioneer and leader in offshore provisioning of critical clinical services to multiple Fortune 500 national health plans. Worked closely with the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) to design and implement the first International URAC accreditation utilized by multiple BPO and captive organizations world-wide. For the past 7 years have served as Chairman, Board of Trustees for the Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines (HIMAP) Spearheading the IBPAP (IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines) Leadership Development Council initiative chartered with assessing the current leadership capabilities to ensure sustainable leadership development for the rapidly growing Philippine IT-BPM industry. Leading the IBPAP/HIMAP initiative with CHED (Philippine Commission on Higher Education) to update the Nursing Informatics curriculum to best prepare nursing students for emerging technology advancements in the HIM arena.
