Multidisciplinary Ecosystem Orchestrator, working on smart specialisation, innovation ecosystem, entrepreneurship ecosystem, sectoral clusters, FDI ecosystem, and also sustainable development; with the aim of transforming İzmir into a sustainable, climate-neutral, and smart city while making her the R&D, innovation, high-tech entrepreneurship, clean energy and cleantech center of Türkiye.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------When I have graduated with my bachelor's 28 years ago, I was a fresh computer engineer. Throughout my carrier started as "Computer System Specialist" and continued with "System Analyst" position, I perceived that the most important part of computer engineering is system engineering which is the development of successful systems.While focusing on system engineering, I also realized that developing a successful system is only possible by understanding the management and implementing successful project management. That led me to study for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and make an effort to be certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).System engineering is not only dealing with technical systems, but it is also interested in social systems and that makes it an interdisciplinary approach that requires the involvement of many different kinds of stakeholders. In the second stage of my career, for the last 17 years, I've been working on these systems which are mostly like ecosystems: FDI ecosystem, innovation ecosystem, entrepreneurship ecosystem, sectoral clusters, SMEs, NGOs, smart city, and also the development dynamics of a city, by managing programs and projects to transform these systems into more successful ones. In a nutshell, I can define myself as a multidisciplinary Ecosystem Orchestrator working on sustainable development and pursuing the aim of transforming my city (İzmir) into a sustainable, climate-neutral, smart city while making her the R&D, innovation, and high-tech entrepreneurship center of Türkiye.
